Background[]
Contrary to what Lear Barduh had imagined, setting up a new religion is not easy, especially when you want to give it an oriental feel but don’t know how to play the pipes. His early days as a guru were hard-going but blessed was his meeting with Stella! The divine Kantahtriz has now become his muse, providing him with such inspiration that pop songs are literally exploding out of his mandolin, like supernovas floating up the cosmic river of pleasure.

- His ability makes him a good bluff to use against your opponent.
- SoA doesn't really hurt him, since he can still rely on his stats.
- The clan bonus removes 8 attack from your opponent, which helps in low-pill fights.
Disadvantages:
- SoA removes your chance to increase your life.
- He is a 4*, so he takes up room in your deck.
- He has competition from the other 4* in Sakrohm.
Trivia[]
- The mandolin he is holding in his 3rd and 4th level artworks bear a strong resemblance to the guitars used in the popular video game series, Guitar Hero. On the final level you can also see bits from the game machine, Simon.
- The name of his second mission may be a reference to the character of the same name from Daft Punk's anime movie, Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem. All of the characters in the beginning of the movie were all colored blue.
- He is based off of French singer Sébastien Tellier, both by his appearance and music. The name of his second mission comes from his album, "My God is Blue". Moreover, Sébastien Tellier's father was once the guitarist of the French band "Magma", and the singer Stella Vander was part of the band (and the real person on whom the card Stella is based on).
- Additionally, the bio of Lear Barduh states he is a guru, which is just like in the album of Sébastien Tellier when he talked about his album, claiming he was the guru of the "Blue Alliance" movement he specially created as a kind of advertisement for his album.
- The name of the card is the combination of two anagrams of real names. The first one is "Rael", which comes from the "Raelism"; the second one is the anagram of "Hubard", which is a reference to Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
