Background

The Skeelz professor of ancient magic is far from accommodating, demanding full attendance from his students as well as impeccable manners. And woe betide anyone who tries to step out of line with Kephren as he'll release from his Book of the Dead ancient gods who'll be sure to punish the impudent child in a manner they won't forget. An hour of detention with Horus and an hour in the kingdom of the dead with Anubis work wonders on a rebellious child!

Missions

  • Ancient Magic: Block 40 damage with Kephren

Advantages & Disadvantages

Advantages:

  • His base power is 8, which is good for a 4*.
  • His base damage is 5, but becomes 7 with fury, allowing you to 2HKO with other members of Skeelz.
  • His ability removes four damage from your opponent.
  • The minimum for his ability is two, which is low.
  • His ability makes him a good bluff against your opponent.
  • The clan bonus prevents his ability from being canceled, unless he is facing an all-stop.

Disadvantages:

  • His ability is Courage-based, meaning you only get two chances to activate it. It also makes him predictable.
  • He is a 4*, so he takes up room in your deck.
  • He has competition from the other 4* in Skeelz. He also has competition from Deebler and Redra, who also reduce damage.

Trivia

  • The names in his bio, Horus and Anubis, are Egyptian gods. Horus, was the God of the Sky, while Anubis was the God of the Dead. In some accounts, the two are brothers.
  • His name is most likely based off of Khafra, who was a 4th dynasty pharaoh of Egypt and the builder of the second-largest pyramid of Giza.
  • His appearance in his last two levels, as well as his superpower, are both based off of Black Adam, a DC comics supervillain.
