Background[]
RIP Fork Joe, the old stable boy of Purgatory, whose death still remains shrouded in mystery. Some say that Fork Joe was drunk and accidentally impaled himself on a garden fork, although our Sheriff is pretty sure that it was just a case of the old man being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

- His first name "fork" is exactly the item he used to use before he died, while it might be the cause of his death.
- He is ArctoPicto's first GhosTown card; however, they made unused concept art for Marshall Mt (design later used for a later card), Poppy Mary (depicting her with black and red hair, but cause of death being the same), Victor Van Dort (depicting him with head trauma and accompanied by a Raven skeleton), and an unnamed portly character, who's cause of death was vertical bifurcation. All but the last character has since been drawn by other artists.
