Background

Where did Vanish come from? He introduced himself to Peeler one fine day with a recommendation from Veenyle Cr, who referred to him as “the world's most trippy DJ”. He starts his show by twirling round and round, then his floating spinning tops get going and whirl around the audience pumping out a hypnotic beat. Open your spirit to Vanish's Mystictrance, the voice of the past and the sound of the future!

Missions

  • Hypnotic Dance: Inflict 40 Damages with Vanish
  • Without a trace: Gain 150 Life Points with Vanish

Advantages & Disadvantages

Advantages:

  • His base power is 8, which is good for a 5*.
  • His base damage is 4, but becomes 6 with fury, allowing you to 2HKO with other members of Junkz.
  • His ability converts the damage you inflicted to your own life, one each.
  • His ability helps to lengthen the gap between you and your opponent.
  • The clan bonus gives him an extra 8 attack, which helps in low-pill fights.

Disadvantages:

  • His base damage is 4, which is low for a 5*.
  • His ability is Confidence, which is harder to achieve than Revenge. It also makes him predictable.
  • His main weakness are damage reducers, since the lower his damage, the less life you receive.
  • He is a 5*, so he takes up a lot of room in your deck.
  • He has competition from the other 5* in Junkz.

Trivia

  • Vanish is based on the Sufi Whirling Dance from Turkey, which explains his bio and the "skirt" he wears on his waist. The Sufi Dancers perform by spinning around, until they enter a trance-like state. The floating top he wields also corresponds to the spinning motion of the dance.
  • The name of his second mission is a play off the term, "Vanish without a trace".
